How to Play Whack the Peasant: Rules and Scoring
Whack the Peasant is a fast whack-a-mole style game. Characters pop out of holes for a moment, and you have 30 seconds to bonk as many as you can.
Scoring
- 🧑🌾 Peasant: +1 point.
- 🤴 Golden prince: +3 points.
- 👑 The King: −5 points. Never bonk the King!
Tips
- Keep your eyes in the middle of the board so you can see every hole at once.
- Look before you tap. A quick glance avoids hitting the King.
- It speeds up near the end. Characters disappear faster as time runs out, so stay sharp.
- Use two thumbs on a phone to cover both sides of the board.
About the game
Whack-a-mole games have been arcade favorites since the 1970s, with players using a padded mallet to bonk moles popping out of holes. Whack the Peasant is our royal twist on the idea: the twist is that the King sometimes pops up too, so you have to think before you tap.
Points
Scoring 25 earns 1 point toward your title, and 40 earns 2 points. Your best score is saved.
