How to Play Trivia Duel: 1v1 Hard Trivia Against a Friend
Trivia Duel is a head-to-head quiz. You and your opponent get the same 10 hard questions at the same time, from hockey, soccer, basketball, cars, geography and general knowledge. Pick a single topic or a mix before you start.
Scoring
- Right answer: 100 points, plus up to 100 more for speed. Answer in the first seconds for close to 200.
- Wrong answer: minus 50 points. Don't guess blindly.
- No answer before the 15 seconds run out: 0 points.
You can't see your opponent's pick until you've both answered. Then the right answer is revealed with both scores, and the next question starts a few seconds later. After 10 questions, the most points wins. If it's a tie, the player with more correct answers wins.
Ways to play
Send a friend a link, post an open challenge anyone can accept, or practice against the bot. The hard bot gets about 80% right, and fast. Win a duel against a person for +3 🪙, or +1 🪙 if you lose.
Tips
- If you're not sure, it can be smarter to let the timer run out than to guess: a wrong answer costs 50, a blank costs nothing.
- If you know it, answer fast. Speed is worth up to 100 extra points per question.
- The recap at the end shows every right answer, so you'll do better next time.
