Math Rush: How to Play the 60-Second Math Game
Math Rush is a speed math game. You have 60 seconds to answer as many questions as you can. Each question has four possible answers. The questions start with simple addition and subtraction, then add multiplication and division as you go.
Rules
- Tap the right answer (or press 1 to 4 on a keyboard) to get the next question.
- A wrong answer costs you 3 seconds.
- The game ends when the timer reaches zero.
Mental math tips
- Round and adjust: 47 + 38 is 50 + 38 = 88, minus 3 = 85.
- Know your times tables up to 12. Division is just multiplication backwards.
- Check the last digit. 7 × 8 must end in 6, so you can often spot the answer instantly.
- Speed over perfection, but don't guess wildly. Each wrong answer costs 3 seconds.
Points
20 correct answers earn 1 point, and 35 earn 2 points.
