How to Play Block Puzzle: Rules and High-Score Tips
Block Puzzle is a calm but tricky game played on an 8ร8 board. You get three blocks at a time, and you drag each one onto the board. Blocks can't be rotated.
The rules
- Fill a whole row or column to clear it.
- When you've placed all three blocks, you get three new ones.
- The game ends when none of your blocks fit anywhere.
Scoring
- Every square you place: +1.
- Clearing lines: +10 for one, +40 for two at once, +90 for three, and more for bigger clears.
- Combos: clear lines on placements in a row for an extra bonus.
Tips for a high score
- Keep the middle open. Big 3ร3 squares and long bars need room.
- Fill the edges and corners first with small and odd-shaped blocks.
- Look at all three blocks before you place the first. Make sure the last one will still fit.
- Set up double clears. Leave a row and a column that one block can finish together.
